This is an initiative led by civil society organization Imaflora. They are an online platform that connects different actors in sociobiodiversity value-chains. On the one hand, local communities producing sociobiodiversity products in protected areas of the Amazon. On the other hand, private companies in Brazil and abroad interested in buying these products. The main goal is to promote ethical trade through local agency and fair pricing. Imaflora plays a crucial role in this arrangement, managing the platform and mediating the commercial relations.
